At Sakadang Tools, we believe that your data is your own. We have built our platform with a strict Privacy-First, Local-First philosophy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use our website (tools.sakadang.com).

1. 100% Client-Side Processing

Sakadang Tools operates entirely within your web browser. When you use our tools to convert images, edit PDFs, generate mockups, or write text, all processing happens locally on your device. We do not upload your files, images, or text to any external servers. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to sync it to your own personal cloud storage.

2. Google Drive Integration (Google Workspace APIs)

We offer a "Workspace Sync" feature that allows you to save and load your projects directly to/from your Google Drive. If you choose to use this feature, please note the following regarding your data:

What data is accessed: Our application requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope. This is a restricted scope that only allows Sakadang Tools to view and manage files and folders that were specifically created by Sakadang Tools (e.g., the Sakadang_Workspace folder). We cannot and do not read, access, or modify your other personal files in Google Drive.
How the data is used: The data is used strictly to sync your Sakadang Tools projects (like Invoice drafts or Mockup settings) across your devices.
Data Storage: The syncing process happens directly between your browser and Google's servers. Sakadang Tools does not intercept, read, or store any of this data on our own servers.
Data Sharing: We do not share, sell, or transfer your Google user data to any third parties. Period.

Sakadang Tools's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. Local Storage (OPFS)

If you use our Default Local Workspace, your projects are saved using your browser's Origin Private File System (OPFS) and LocalStorage. This data resides permanently on your device's hard drive and is completely inaccessible to us.

4. Analytics and Tracking

We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand website traffic. These tools do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) and do not track you across the web.

5. Changes to this Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we do not collect your email address, we cannot notify you directly. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes.
